(This submission is my own to just clear up the whole octopus steampunk thing. Jules Verne was one of the first people to really write about steampunk and the octopus came from him. He’s what made it iconic in this world. Is it vastly over-used and misplaced? Of course, but it does belong.
A side note to those who have yet to read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, it’s a fantastic read and I highly recomend it.)
