I just found this tumblr and I wanted to say thank you for making it! I've admired steampunk from afar for several years and I'm finally getting ready to try and join in the adventure - your posts and confessions have helped me understand the mentality and culture behind the fashion in a way that has been escaping me until now. I finally feel like I have a somewhere to start from now!
